Robert Lawrence Henry

CLYDE- Mr. Robert L. Henry, 77, of 72 Galen St., died at
his residence on Sunday (January 29, 2012) , following a
brief illness.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday (February
3, 2012) from 4 to 7 PM at the Baris Funeral Home, 87
W. Genesee St. Clyde. Funeral Services will be held on
Saturday (February 4, 2012) at 10:00AM in the Christ
Community Church (27 W. Genesee ST, Clyde) with Rev.
Dana Rattray officiating. Burial will follow in Rose
Cemetery.
Mr. Henry was born in the Town of Rose on November 4,
1934, the son of Benton and Catherine Bowden Henry.
As a lifelong resident of Clyde, Robert graduated Clyde
High School and went on to attend the State University of
New York at Morrisville, where he also played
basketball. On July 3, 1954 he married the former
Elizabeth MacDougall. Being an avid sportsman and fan,
he also played softball for the Xerox Industrial Team
while being employed at the Xerox Corporation. Bob was
a huge NY Yankee fan, and enjoyed watching all sports.
Surviving are the mother of his children, Betty Henry of
Clyde, his daughters Dawn (Gene) Cinelli of Lyons and
Tami (Leonard) DiSanto of Clyde; his sons Robert Scott
Henry of Auburn and Todd (Andrea) Henry of Clyde; his
8 grandchildren, Erin Dorval, Megan Carnevale, Justin
DiSanto, Jordan Cinelli, Andrew DiSanto, Libby Henry,
Jillian Henry, and Timothy Henry; 4 great grandchildren,
many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Robert was pre-deceased by his two brothers Billie J.
Henry and Donald B. Henry.
