R. Blasczak, DVM
CLYDE- Dr. Dawn R. Blasczak, DVM, 27, of 3122 State
Route 414 North died unexpectedly on Thursday
(January 19, 2012) in Newark, NY.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday (January
22nd) from 4 to 7 PM. at the Baris Funeral Home, 87 W.
Genesee St, Clyde.
Funeral services will be held on Monday (January 23rd)
at 11 AM in the Clyde United Methodist Church, with
Rev. Barbara DeAngelis officiating.

County, 1475 County House Rd., Lyons, NY 14489
would be appreciated.
Dawn was born in Newark, NY on April 28, 1984, the
youngest child of Dr. David and Debera Moffitt Blasczak.
She was a graduate of Clyde Savannah HS Class of
2002. Dawn then went on to continue her education at
the State University of New York at Oswego, graduating
in 2006, with a Bachelors of Science degree. Her love of
animals drove her to continue on with her education and
she attended Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL., for
one year, and then continued onto Ross University
School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts (Caribbean
Islands) where she attained her Doctorate of Veterinary
Medicine in May of 2011. Most recently she was
employed by Merrell Dairy Farms, of Route 89, Wolcott,
NY Besides animals, Dawn enjoyed all types of water
sports including swimming and snorkeling, karaoke, and
horseback riding.
Surviving are her parents Dr. David (Judy) Blasczak of
Newark and Debera (Paul Fredendall) Blasczak, RN of
Clyde. Her siblings, Matthew of Shirley, L.I. NY; Tiffany
(Kris) Sperring of Savannah, GA.; and Benjamin Blasczak
of Canastota, NY; her step brother Brandon Giovannini of
Newark; her step-sister Jennifer Shufelt of Sacramento,
CA; her maternal grandmother Mrs. Florence Moffitt of
Buffalo; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends.
She was pre-deceased by her paternal grandparents Pat
& Ben Blasczak. and her maternal grandfather Robert
Moffitt.
