James Edward Munson

Lock Berlin / Lyons - Mr. James Edward Munson, 76, of
Peters Rd. Died Unexpectedly on Wednesday (January,
11, 2012)at Rochester General Hospital surrounded by
his loving family.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday (January
13th) from 5-8 PM at the Baris Funeral Home, 87 W.
Genesee St., Clyde. Funeral services will be held on
Saturday (January 14th) at 10 AM in the funeral home
with the Rev. Dana Rattray, Pastor of the Clyde
Community Church officiating. Burial will be private.
Memorial contributions to the Humane Society of Wayne
County, 1475 County House Rd., Lyons, NY 14489
would be appreciated.
Jim was born in Clyde on November 29, 1935, the son of
James and Ada Carr Munson. He married the former
Shirley Ruebens in 1957. James retired from the
Operating Engineers Union Local 832 in Rochester, NY.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working outdoors.

Surviving are his wife of over 50 years Shirley Munson of
Lyons; his children Timothy (Donna) Munson of Clyde,
Thomas (Sue) Munson of Lyons, Terri (Robert) Brisky of
Lyons and Todd (April) Munson of Lyons; grandchildren
Greg, Danny, Amanda, Thomas, Tyler, Matthew and
Jordan Munson, Ryan, Alex and Andrew Brisky, Jacob
and Adam Giocondo,; 4 great-grandchildren; his brothers
Alfred Munson and Clinton (Chris) Gary of Syracuse. and
his beloved dog, Carrie.
Besides his parents, James was pre-deceased by his
grandson Jamie Munson in 2010.
